Booking Terms & Policies

Everything you need to know about booking, payment, delivery, and our terms of service. If anything here is unclear, reach out — we’re happy to walk you through it before you book.

Booking Policy

To reserve your date, a 50% advance payment is required as a retainer. This amount is adjusted against your final balance, which is due one week before your wedding.

Please note: unlike traditional photographers, we don’t deliver images immediately after the shoot. Every photo is sorted, edited, and colour corrected before delivery — this typically takes 1 to 2+ months depending on the season and scale of your event. If you’re based outside India, all high-resolution images are delivered online.

We provide high-resolution JPEG images only. RAW files are not shared as part of any package.

Payment Terms

• 50% advance payment to block your shoot date
• 50% balance due on the day of the final shoot at the venue

Payment terms are finalised at the time of booking and followed strictly to ensure on-time delivery.

Standard Delivery Schedule

• Within 1 week: A set of highlight images shared with you
• Within 3–4 weeks: A link with all colour-corrected images, for you to select your album pictures (selection to be completed within 2 weeks)
• Within 4–7 weeks (from when we receive your album selections): Albums designed as per your package, shared as a link for your approval before printing (approval needed within 14 days — delays may incur additional per-sheet charges due to fluctuating printing costs)

Wedding films: Delivered as crisp, edited highlights with background music, subject to your song approval. Please share your chosen songs 7–15 days before your event.

Album Design & Delivery

Your creative photography album is personally designed by Anbu Jawahar, with one round of online preview for revisions if needed. If we’ve shot your reception, you’ll choose images from the delivered gallery for that album.

• Maximum album length: 150 pages (larger selections require a second, additional album)
• Shipping within India: free
• Shipping outside India: charged at actual cost

Cancellation Policy

• 90+ days before your event: Your retainer is fully refundable
• Less than 90 days before your event: The retainer is non-refundable
• If ONEIRO Photography cancels: Your retainer is fully refunded, regardless of timing

Additional Events & Extended Hours

Standard sessions are 6–8 hours (3–4 hours for smaller sessions). Any events or hours beyond what’s agreed in your package will incur an additional charge. We recommend finalising a tentative event schedule — start and end times — before booking.

Travel & Accommodation

• Travel beyond 50km from Bangalore is charged separately
• Accommodation is arranged by the client, either at the wedding venue (if suitable rooms are available) or a nearby hotel
• For destinations we’re familiar with, we can help arrange your stay, with actual costs reimbursed by you

Data Backup

A soft copy backup of your deliverables is retained for 12 months. If your original files are lost, a duplicate copy can be provided for an additional fee.

Copyrights & Usage

ONEIRO Photography retains copyright to all images and may use select photos on our website, in print media, magazines, or exhibitions to showcase our work. We never sell your images or use them for any commercial purpose beyond demonstrating our portfolio.

If you’d prefer your photos not be publicly displayed anywhere, this can be arranged for an additional fee — just let us know before booking.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform, or delays in performing, our obligations due to circumstances reasonably beyond our control — including war, riots, fire, flood, natural disasters, strikes, lockouts, energy shortages, or government action preventing performance of the contract.
