Karaikudi is the beating heart of Chettinad — grand mansions, courtyards, and architecture unlike anywhere else in Tamil Nadu. For this post-wedding shoot, that heritage backdrop did most of the storytelling for us.
We moved through a few of the town’s iconic settings — weathered pillars, Athangudi-tiled courtyards, and quiet streets — letting the scale and texture of Chettinad architecture frame the couple rather than overwhelm them. With the wedding rush behind them, the couple could simply enjoy the setting, and it shows in every frame.
