Unawatuna’s curved bay and golden-hour light made it an easy choice for this post-wedding portrait session — one of Sri Lanka’s most photogenic stretches of coastline, and a favourite stop for our Ceylon Stories work.
We planned the shoot around the beach’s natural rhythm, moving between the shoreline and the palm-lined edges as the light softened toward evening. With the ceremony behind them, the couple could simply enjoy the setting, and that ease comes through in every frame — relaxed, candid, and unmistakably coastal Sri Lanka.
